Leadership Execution — Three ways to engage

Fractional Leadership

Hands-on senior leadership that creates focus, builds operating rhythm, and drives execution across customer, commercial, and revenue teams.

Some organisations need an experienced leader to create focus, establish accountability, and drive the work across functions and markets.

As a fractional CRO and customer-growth leader, I work with your executive team and relevant commercial leaders to own agreed renewal, expansion, coverage, forecasting, and operating-model priorities. The engagement is built around leadership ownership and a defined transformation mandate—not hours for hire.

Outcome:

You gain experienced commercial leadership without the delay of a full-time hire—creating focus, momentum, and a stronger foundation for the next stage of growth.

This is right for you if…

Timeline/scope:
A 6-month minimum engagement, with to two days per week of embedded leadership capacity. Defined mandate, priorities, and success measures agreed at the start. Travel, major implementation projects, and material scope expansion are agreed separately.

• The CEO, CRO or senior executive team is carrying too much customer-growth intervention personally.

• A reorganisation, acquisition, market expansion, or revenue-model shift has disrupted ownership.

• Multiple teams need one person to create alignment and operating rhythm.

• You need senior leadership capacity without immediately making a full-time hire.

Typical responsibilities

• Lead the customer growth agenda.

• Facilitate leadership and cross-functional alignment.

• Establish weekly operating cadence.

• Improve visibility into risk, potential, and performance.

• Coach commercial and customer leaders.

• Drive decisions and follow-through across the agreed mandate.

Interim Leadership

Experienced leadership capacity during a transition, reorganisation, leadership gap, acquisition, or period of accelerated change.

Timeline/scope:
Project based. Duration and capacity defined by the transition need. Clear handover and successor-readiness plan included.

I step into a senior customer-growth leadership role for a defined period—bringing continuity, pace, and clear ownership when the business cannot afford a gap.

This is suited to a leadership departure, extended leave, reorganisation, acquisition, or period of accelerated growth. The objective is simple: maintain momentum, create clarity, and put the next leader in a stronger position to succeed.

Typical engagements

• Leadership continuity and transition: Stepping into a customer-growth or commercial leadership role during a departure, leave period, reorganisation, acquisition, or leadership transition.

• Cross-functional alignment: Creating focus and accountability across sales, marketing, customer success, product, and executive leadership.

• Operating rhythm and team leadership: Establishing clear priorities, decision rights, management cadence, and performance visibility so teams can execute effectively.

• Executive and Board representation: Providing experienced customer-growth leadership, commercial insight, and clear communication at Leadership Team and Board level.

Outcome

• A stabilised customer-growth function, aligned leadership team, stronger operating rhythm, and a clear foundation for the next phase or permanent leader.

Executive Advisory

Independent perspective, structured analysis, and practical direction for important commercial and customer-growth decisions.

Timeline/scope:
Project based. Focused and time-bound. Designed around a specific decision, constraint, or transformation

I work with leadership teams when growth, commercial performance, or customer relationships have become more complex than the current operating model can support.

The engagements are focused and time-bound, bringing an outside perspective to important strategic questions while staying close to the realities of execution. Whether the challenge involves market direction, customer growth, organisational alignment, or commercial change, the work creates clarity on what matters, what needs to change, and where to focus next.

Typical engagements

• Strategic Growth & GTM Planning: Clarifying priorities, choices, and growth opportunities across markets, products, customers, and routes to market.

• Customer & Revenue Assessment: Examining the drivers of retention, renewal, expansion, customer value, and revenue predictability.

• Operating Model & Organisational Design: Aligning responsibilities, decision rights, processes, and management rhythms so teams can execute with greater clarity.

• Executive and Board Advisory: Providing an independent perspective, structured analysis, and decision support at important moments.

Outcome

• Strategic clarity, informed choices, and an actionable path from the current situation to the next stage of growth.
